Your band's songs

Managing band songs

Viewing, filtering and exporting your repertoire, adding and removing songs, and sharing a read-only song list.

Your band's repertoire is every song the band plays or might play. It's what you pick from when you build a setlist. This article covers viewing the repertoire, choosing which songs are in it, and sharing it. To add songs that aren't in the library yet, see Adding songs.

Who can manage songs: by default the Principal, Core and Member roles can add and remove songs. Everyone in the band can view the repertoire.

The repertoire page

Open it with Repertoire table on your band page. It lists every song with its artist, key, BPM and genre. Click a song to open its band song page.

  • Tabs: All, plus Covers, Band songs and Member songs when the band has any. Band songs are ones credited to your band as an artist; member songs are credited to a member. These tabs only sort correctly once your band's Music identity (band settings) and each member's Music identity (profile) are filled in.
  • Filters: title, artist, key, genre, member collections (songs in your own or any member's profile collection), and Missing charts to find songs that don't have a chart yet. Click a column heading to sort.
  • Print prints the list as shown, with your filters.
  • Export book PDF gathers the charts for every song in the repertoire into one PDF. It builds in the background; when it's ready you'll get a download link. Songs without a chart get a placeholder page.

Add or remove songs

Click Add or remove on the repertoire page (or Browse catalog or Manage songs on the band page) to open the song picker.

The picker shows every public song in the library, plus private songs you created. Songs already in your repertoire are highlighted. Click a song to add it; click a highlighted song to remove it. Use the search box and filters (Repertoire view, genres, key, market tags and more) to narrow the list. Already in repertoire shows just your band's songs.

If a song isn't in the library, add it as a new song.

Removing a song

You can remove a song three ways: click it in the picker, use the X on its card on the band page, or click Remove from repertoire on its band song page. Each asks you to confirm.

Removing a song:

  • Keeps it on any setlists it's already on, and in the song library.
  • Clears your band's own details for it: key, BPM, duration, vocalist, band notes, and preferred video and audio. If you add it back later, you start fresh.

Share the list

A share link gives anyone a read-only copy of your song list, without signing in. It's handy for venues, subs, or fans who want to request songs. Guests don't see private songs.

  • Copy Link on the repertoire page copies the share link, including any tab, sort and filters you've chosen.
  • The footnote at the bottom of the repertoire page has Create share link, Reset link (makes a new link; the old one stops working) and Turn off link. By default the Principal, Core and Manager roles can do this.

Which chart shows on Music Stand, and which video or audio plays in the setlist players, is set per song on the band song page.
