Music Stand puts your whole setlist's charts on one scrolling page, one chart per song, so you can play the gig from a tablet or laptop.
Opening Music Stand
On the setlist page, click Music Stand. Use Copy Link next to it to share a link that works without an account. That's great for subs and guest players.
Music Stand includes every set, including Maybe. Songs without a chart are left out, and song links aren't shown. For videos and audio, use the Practice page.
Moving between songs
- » jumps to the next song.
- « jumps back to the top of the current song. If you're already near the top, it goes to the previous song.
- Jump (it shows your place, like "3/24") opens a list of every song with a chart, grouped by set. Setlists over 20 songs get a filter box. Esc closes it.
Pressing « or » pauses auto-scroll.
Auto-scroll
Press Play to scroll the page at a steady pace and Pause to stop. The Speed slider runs from 1 to 10 (default 5). Scrolling stops on its own at the bottom of the page; press Play again to start over from the top. Click × to hide the bar (along with «, », Jump and the keyboard shortcuts), and Auto-scroll to bring it back.
Auto-scroll keeps going if you scroll by hand. The speed isn't saved, so set it at the start of each gig.

Transposing
Typed charts with chords have − and + buttons (one semitone each, up to 11 either way) and a ♯/♭ toggle in each song's header. Transposing isn't available on PDF or image charts.
- Principal, Core and Member (by default) save the transpose for the whole band on that song.
- Everyone else, including Manager, Crew and Sub roles and people using a share link, only changes it on their own device.
The band transpose belongs to each song's main chart (its Preference Set 1 chart, or its most recently edited chart if none is set). When Music Stand shows a different chart, for example with Preference Set 2 or 3 selected, transposing that chart only changes it on your device, for everyone.
The Instrument dropdown shows charts for Concert pitch, B♭ instruments (+2) or E♭ instruments (−3). It's for your screen only, lasts for this visit, and doesn't change the band's saved key.
Note: choosing a different main (Preference Set 1) chart for a song resets that song's saved band transpose.
Choosing which chart appears
Charts are chosen per song, on the band song page (Make primary, or the Music Stand preferences gear) or on a chart's own page (Use as Music Stand). If a song has no chosen chart, Music Stand shows its most recently edited chart, the same one Practice and the song page show.
Bands can keep up to three sets of chart choices. For example, set 1 could be chord charts and set 2 lead sheets for horns. Once any song has a set 1 chart, a dropdown with Preference Set 1 and Preference Set 2 appears on Music Stand (Preference Set 3 joins it once a song has a set 3 chart). Set 2 uses the set 1 chart for any song without its own set 2 chart. Set 3 uses the most recently edited chart for any song without its own set 3 chart.
Choosing charts needs the Core or Principal role (by default).
Printing and recording
- Print chart opens a print-friendly version in a new tab, using your preference set and instrument choice. It starts with a one-page setlist, then one song per page, and has an Add chord diagrams option.
- Members who can record get Record Audio and Record Video buttons, so you can capture the gig without leaving the page. See Recording sets.
