The Band Plan is free to start. Click Try Free in the top navigation (or Get started free on the pricing page) to open the Create account page.
Note: The Band Plan is currently available to users in the United States.
Three ways to sign up
1. Email and password
Fill in:
- Username: at least 3 characters
- Password and Confirm password: at least 6 characters
- Your act name (optional): if you enter one, we create a band with that name and make you its owner
- The Terms and Privacy checkbox (required). The newsletter box is ticked by default; untick it if you'd rather not get it.
Click Create account. You land on your home page with a welcome message, and a welcome email is on its way.
2. Sign-in link by email
Click Continue with email, enter your address and click Send sign-in link. The link in the email works once and expires after 1 hour.
If the address is new to us, the link creates your account. You'll see a short Get started page where you can pick a username and, optionally, your act name.
3. Google or Facebook
Tick the Terms checkbox, then click Sign up with Google or Sign up with Facebook. If your Google email already belongs to an account, Google is linked to it; otherwise a new account is created and you'll pick a username.
Songs you saved before signing up
If you saved songs to My List before you had an account, they're copied into your Song Collection as soon as you register or sign in. Duplicates are skipped.
Joining a band from an invitation
If a band invited you by email, use the link in that email. It opens a page showing which band invited you and when the invitation expires (7 days after it was sent). From there you can:
- Continue with Google
- Sign In & Join Band, if you already have an account
- Create Account & Join Band, if you don't
If you register or sign in some other way using the invited email address, the invitation is accepted automatically. If a link has expired, ask the band to resend it; resending gives you another 7 days.
Forgot your password?
Go to Log in → Forgot password. We email a reset link that's valid for 1 hour (check your spam folder). If your account was created with a sign-in link, Google or Facebook and has no password, signing in with a password sends you a sign-in link instead.
