The Audio Playlist plays an audio track for each song in the setlist, in order, from the audio links on your songs.
Opening it
On the setlist page, in the Views panel, click Audio Playlist. Use Copy Link to share it with people who don't have an account. The button is greyed out if no song has any audio.
Using it
The first song starts when the page opens, and each song plays into the next. After the last song it loops back to the start. Use Previous, Restart and Next, or click any song to play it. The chart button on each row opens the song's chart or details.
The sets play in order, with the Maybe set last. Set summaries shows each set's length, and the total leaves out Maybe. Songs with nothing to play are listed under Missing audio.
Which audio plays
Each song plays one track:
- Your band's preferred audio, if you've chosen one. It can be an audio link, one of your band's song recordings, or a song from one of your split set recordings.
- Otherwise the song's first audio link.
- Otherwise your band's newest recording of the song.
- Otherwise a song from one of your band's split set recordings.
Choose the preferred audio on the song's band song page: click Make preferred on an audio link, use Make preferred audio on a recording, or use the playlist preferences gear. That needs the Core or Principal role (by default).
Audio Playlist vs. the Setlist Player
- The Audio Playlist plays one track per song, usually reference audio such as studio versions, demos and audio links, but it can also use your band's recordings.
- The Setlist Player plays your band's own recordings of this setlist, split into songs. It has its own ordering, skipping and sharing.
