Every band on The Band Plan can have a public page at its own short address, like thebandplan.com/your-band-name. It works as the band's website and press kit in one: fans can listen, watch and sign up for news, and venues and press can grab photos and booking details. Anyone can open it, no account needed.
Find a band
Click Bands in the top bar to see every band with a public page. The most recently updated pages come first. Each card shows the band's logo and short description, and how many album tracks they've released. Click a card to open the band's page.
You can also go straight to a band's address if they've shared it with you. If a band hasn't made its page public, the address shows "This page doesn't exist or isn't available yet."
What's on the page
At the top you'll see the band's name and logo, with their tagline, hometown and genres if they've added them. Below that, the page only shows the sections the band has filled in, so no two pages look quite the same:
- About: the band's bio, genre and the year they formed.
- Covers we play: the artists whose songs the band covers. Click and N more to see the full list.
- Videos: watch here, or use Copy Link, Share, or the open button to go to the video's own page.
- Albums: click Listen Now to open a released album. Albums that aren't out yet show Coming Soon with a countdown to the release date. See Public album pages.
- Band Members: photos, names and instruments. Click a name to open that musician's public page, if they have one. See Public musician pages.
- Photos: performance photos, event posters, promo shots and other photos, each in its own section.
- Band Logos: logos in a form ready for posters and listings.
- Audio Samples: play tracks right on the page. Spotify, SoundCloud, Bandcamp and YouTube links play in place; other links open the original site.
- Support the band: a tip jar, if the band has set one up. See Tip the band.
- Press & Reviews: quotes from reviews and press coverage.
- Upcoming Shows: the band's next confirmed gigs, with date, venue and ticket price. Click a poster to open the gig page, or Get Tickets to buy.
- Connect with the band: social links, a fan email signup, booking contact and the band's website.
Photos, logos and the press pack
Click any photo or logo to see it full size. Use the arrow keys to browse through all of them, and download the full-resolution file from the viewer. Logos also have a download link under each one.
Most pages have Download Press Pack near the top. It gives you a ZIP file with every public photo, logo and member photo, sorted into folders, plus a PDF summary of the band: bio, press quotes, contact details and links. It's built for venues, promoters and press who need everything in one go.
Videos
Each video has its own page with a larger player and share buttons for copying the link, Facebook, X and email. Below it, More from the band lists their other videos. Click Back to the band's name to return to their page.
Tip the band
If the band has added Venmo, PayPal or Zelle, you'll see Support with the band's name:
- Pick an amount ($5, $10, $20 or $50) or click Custom to type your own.
- Add a message if you like.
- Choose how to pay:
- Venmo opens Venmo in a new tab and shows a QR code you can scan with your phone.
- PayPal opens the band's PayPal page with the amount filled in.
- Zelle shows the band's Zelle details, the amount and a note to include.
Your money goes straight to the band through that service. The Band Plan never handles the payment.
Get updates from the band
To hear about shows and news, enter your email in Get updates (it's either at the top of the page or in the Connect section), tick the box, and click Subscribe. You'll get an email with a confirmation link first; nothing else arrives until you click it. Every email from the band has an unsubscribe link.
Book the band
Click Show Contact Information in the Connect section to see the band's booking email and phone number. They're hidden behind the button to keep spam bots from collecting them. Visit Website takes you to the band's own site, if they have one.
If it's your band
When you're signed in as a member, the bottom of your band's page has Edit Page and Back to Band. See Editing your band's public page to choose what shows, add photos and videos, and turn the fan signup and tip jar on or off.
