Every band and solo act you belong to is listed in two places: the My Bands page and the My Bands panel on your profile. Click any band to open its band page.
The My Bands page
Click All my bands on your profile, or My Bands on your home page, to open it. (Bands in the top bar is different: it lists every public band on The Band Plan.) It shows every band you're in, sorted by name. Each card shows:
- the band's logo and description,
- your role in the band, like Principal, Core or Member,
- when the band was last updated,
- how many songs and setlists it has,
- Public, if the band's public page is turned on.
At the top you'll find Browse public bands, which opens every public band on The Band Plan, and Create band.
The My Bands panel on your profile
Your profile page has a shorter list: your 15 most recently updated bands, newest first. Each row shows:
- a star next to your favorite band,
- your role in the band,
- a number like 4/7 if the band's press kit isn't finished yet and you're allowed to edit the band profile. Hover it to see what to add next.
Below the list are All my bands and Create Another Band.
Your favorite band
Pick a favorite and it gets a shortcut in the top bar. The red Record button also records into your favorite band, unless you're on another band's page, where it records into that band.
- Click Edit Profile on your profile page.
- Under Favorite band, choose a band from My Favorite Band.
- Click Save Changes.
Until you pick one, the top bar shows Set favorite, which takes you to the same setting. Choose None to clear it. If you leave that band, your favorite is cleared too.
Create a band
Click Create band on the My Bands page or Create Another Band on your profile. You'll be the band's Principal. Even a solo act works as a band. See Creating a band.
Join or leave a band
To join a band, someone in it invites you. See Invite someone and Leave a band.
