My Woodshed is where the lessons you save from The Woodshed collect: YouTube tutorials and links to lessons on other sites. Your saves are private. Nobody else sees them, and they don't appear on your public profile.
Save a lesson
In The Woodshed, click Save (the bookmark) on a lesson's card, or Save to profile on a YouTube lesson's page. You can save YouTube lessons and lessons on the Links tab. Song tutorial links on the Songs tab can't be saved; find them again from the song's page.
Find your saves
- On your profile: the My Woodshed section shows your 6 most recent saves, with the total next to the heading. Click Full list or View all … saved to see everything.
- The full list: click My Woodshed in your profile header, or the My Woodshed tile on your home page. It lists every save, newest first.
Browse Woodshed takes you back to The Woodshed to find more.
Open a saved lesson
Click a card to open it. A YouTube lesson opens on its Woodshed page, with the video player and its practice tools. A link opens the original site in a new tab. Each card shows the lesson's song (if it has one), plus its instrument and difficulty when they were filled in.
Remove a save
Click Saved on the card. The card disappears straight away, and the count goes down. This only removes it from your list; the lesson stays in The Woodshed for everyone else, and you can save it again any time.
If the person who added a lesson, or a moderator, removes it from The Woodshed, it also disappears from your saves.
