Get the band on a video call without hunting for everyone's email. Start a meeting, and everyone in the band gets an email with the link to join.
Open it from the Band Meetings panel in your band page's left sidebar. The panel shows once your band has at least two members.
Start a meeting now
- In the Band Meetings panel, click Start Instant Meeting. A new Google Meet opens in another tab.
- In Google Meet, copy the meeting link (it looks like
meet.google.com/abc-defg-hij). - Back in the panel, paste the link and click Notify band.
Everyone else in the band gets an email with a Join Meeting Now button. The panel then shows Meeting Active, how many bandmates were emailed, and a Join button to get back to the call if you close the tab.
Using Zoom, FaceTime or something else? Paste that link instead. Any meeting link works.
Good things to do on a call
- Share your screen to walk through a chart or a setlist.
- Build or reorder a setlist together, with everyone watching the changes.
- Listen back to a rehearsal recording in the setlist player and pick the best takes.
Who gets the email
Every member of the band with an email address, except the person who started the meeting. That includes Subs and Crew. To change who's in the band, see Members and permissions.
If someone doesn't get it, ask them to check their spam or promotions folder.
