The media library holds your band's photos and videos in one place. You can use them on your public page, in social media posts, and in emails to venues and press.
Open it
Click Media library at the top of your band's page. It's also linked from the Photos and Videos sections of the public page editor. Public page at the top of the library takes you back to the editor.
By default, Principal, Core, Manager and Crew members can manage the library. Any member who has a link to a photo or video page can view it.
The library has two tabs, Photos and Videos, each with a count.
Photos
Upload a photo, or add one from a link with From URL (JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF, up to 20 MB). Give it a category, and a caption if you like:
- Performance Photo, Event Poster, Promo Shot or General.
- Logo: click Primary on a logo to put it at the top of your public page.
Each photo has a Public band page setting, Show or Hide. Hidden photos stay off your public page but can still be picked for social posts. Tick Don't show on public band page when you upload to start a photo as hidden.
From a photo card you can:
- View it full size.
- Copy its image URL, or Download it.
- Make it the Primary photo or logo.
- Delete it with the trash can.
The photo page
Click a photo to open its page. Use the arrows to step through the library. The page has these buttons:
- Copy image URL: a direct link to the file, for emails and press.
- Copy public link: a link to the photo on your public page.
- Download: the file as stored.
- Full resolution and View on public page: only for photos set to Show on a public page.
More from your band lists other photos below.
Videos
- External videos: paste a YouTube or Vimeo link, or a direct link to an MP4, MOV or WebM file.
- Band recordings: pick a video from your setlist or song recordings. The library uses the recording's own file, so nothing is uploaded twice.
Every video shows on your public page. Drag them under Public page order to change the order.
Use Copy on a video to grab a link:
- Video URL: for YouTube, Vimeo and other external videos.
- Watch page link: the video's own page, with a player and share buttons. It only works while your band page is public. This is the best link for email.
- File URL: a direct link to the file. Most email apps can't play these, so use the watch page link instead.
Deleting a video from the library doesn't delete the recording it came from.
Add from setlists and the player
- Setlist photos: open a setlist's photos and click Add to media library. Set the caption and category, and choose whether to show it on your public page. It starts hidden. Afterwards the button changes to In media library.
- Video recordings: in a setlist's video player, or on a video split's own page, click Add to media library. Give it a title and an optional description. Once added, the button links to the video in the library.
Members who can manage media or promote recordings to the library see both buttons. Members who can edit setlists also see the photo button.
Storage
Photos count toward your band's storage total, not against any one member. You still need some room in your own storage to upload them. Videos from links take no storage, and videos from recordings reuse files that are already counted. See Storage.
