Keep your band's shows in one place: where and when you're playing, load-in and set times, what you're getting paid, and the ticket link and poster for fans. Confirmed shows also appear publicly, so fans can find them.
Your band's gigs
On your band page, open the Next Gigs panel in the left sidebar to see your next few shows. Click View All Gigs for the full list, upcoming and past, with each gig's date, venue and status.
Anyone in the band can see the gigs. Adding, editing and deleting them takes the Principal, Core, Member or Manager role. See Members and permissions.
Add a gig
There are two ways a gig gets on your list:
- From a booking: when you mark an opportunity Booked and it has a gig date, the gig is created for you as Confirmed, with the venue and agreed fee filled in. See Venue outreach.
- By hand: on the gigs list, click New Gig.
A gig needs a Gig Name, a Gig Date and a Venue. The venue list only shows venues your band has saved, so add the venue to your band first if it isn't there. See Public venue pages.
Then fill in whatever you have:
- Times: load-in, sound check, start and end.
- Fee: what the band is being paid. Only band members see this.
- Ticket Price (like "$20" or "Free") and Ticket Link.
- Facebook Event link.
- Poster: upload an image (up to 10 MB, counts toward your band's storage) or paste an image URL.
- Notes.
New gigs start out Confirmed.
What fans see
A gig shows up publicly when it's Confirmed, it hasn't happened yet, and your band has a public page. It then appears:
- on the site-wide Upcoming Gigs page,
- in Upcoming Shows on your band's public page, if you've turned that section on,
- on its own gig page, which you can share. On your gig's detail page, Public View opens it.
The public gig page shows the name, date, start and end times, venue and address, ticket price, Buy Tickets, the Facebook event, the poster and your band's tip jar.
Notes are public. They appear on the gig page as About this show. Use them for things fans should know, like "21+" or "two sets, free parking out back". Keep private details, like the fee split or the sound guy's cell number, out of Notes.
The fee, load-in and sound check times are never shown publicly.
Edit, cancel or delete
Open a gig and click Edit Gig to change any detail, including its Status:
- Confirmed: the show is on, and it's public.
- Tentative: pencilled in. Only your band can see it.
- Cancelled: it stays on your list for the record. Only your band can see it.
- Completed: it's done. Its gig page stays up, so links you've shared keep working.
Delete Gig removes it completely.
On the day
A gig's page has what you need in one place: the schedule, the venue's address, and the venue's contacts under Venue contacts and Contact Venue. If the gig came from a booking, Recent booking activity shows the latest messages with the venue, and View all activity opens the opportunity.
To plan what you'll play, make a setlist for the show. See Creating setlists.
