Your band

Social media

Connect Facebook, Instagram and X, plan campaigns, write posts with AI help, and schedule them.

Plan and publish your band's posts to Facebook, Instagram and X from one place. Group posts into campaigns, let AI suggest ideas and write captions, attach your own photos and recordings, and schedule posts to go out on their own.

Open it from the Social Media panel in your band page's left sidebar.

Who can use it

Anyone in the band can look at the campaigns, topics and posts. Creating, editing, scheduling and posting takes the Principal, Core or Manager role. See Members and permissions.

How it's organized

  • Campaign: a theme with a schedule, like "Summer tour" or "Album release". It sets how often you post and which timezone you're in.
  • Topic: one post idea inside a campaign, like "New merch is in" or "Friday at The Blue Room". Each topic has a date and time to post.
  • Post: the actual caption, hashtags and photo or video for one platform. One topic can have a post for each platform.

Every post belongs to a topic, and every topic belongs to a campaign, so start with a campaign.

Connect your accounts

In the Social Media panel, click Manage connections, then Connect on each platform:

  • Facebook: needs a Facebook Page, not a personal profile. You'll pick which Page to use.
  • Instagram: needs a Business or Creator account linked to your band's Facebook Page. On Facebook's screen, click Edit settings and choose the band's Page.
  • X (Twitter): sign in and approve. If you connected X before photo posting was added and photos won't post, disconnect and connect again to allow photo uploads.

If a connection fails, see Social platform connections. If a post later says your access expired, come back here and connect again.

Create a campaign

Click Create Campaign (or Campaigns → New Campaign) and fill in:

  • Campaign Name, like "Fall tour 2026".
  • Campaign Details: what it's about. The AI uses this when it suggests topics, so the more specific, the better.
  • Campaign Goal: Engagement, Growth or Both.
  • Posting Frequency: daily, 3 times a week, weekly, every two weeks or monthly.
  • Timezone: the times you enter and see are in this timezone.
  • Active Campaign: while ticked, you get an email reminder before each topic's post time. Untick it to pause reminders.

Add topics

After you create a campaign you go straight to adding topics. Later, click Add Topic on the campaign page. You can mix three sources, then tick the ones you want and click Create Selected Topics:

  • Generate Suggestions: the AI suggests 10 short topic ideas from your campaign details, band bio, albums and upcoming gigs. Edit any of them before you save.
  • Manual entry: type your own, with an optional description.
  • Reuse from past campaigns: pick topics you've used before.

New topics get dates automatically, spaced out by the campaign's posting frequency, at noon in the campaign's timezone. To change a topic's date, time or title, open it and click Edit. Use the up and down arrows on the topic list to change the order; automatically dated topics swap dates when you move them.

Write a post

Open a topic and click Create Post. Then:

  1. Pick platforms. Connected platforms are ticked already. You can post the same topic to several platforms at once, and each gets its own post.
  2. Write the caption. Either:
    • click Use topic as post to start from the topic's title and description, or
    • click Generate Content to have the AI write 3 caption options per platform, plus suggested hashtags. Click Use This on the one you like.
  3. Edit it. Each platform has its own caption and hashtag box, with a character count. Click Polish captions with AI for two reworked versions of what you've written.
  4. Add a photo or video. Click Select Media and pick one from the band's photos, gig posters, videos, song and setlist recordings, or ideas, or upload a new photo. Uploaded photos are hidden from your public band page unless you untick that option. The Media Library button on the campaign list shows everything you can pick from.
  5. Check the previews, then choose:
    • Save as Draft to finish later.
    • Schedule to post automatically at the topic's date and time.
    • Post Now to publish right away.

What each platform accepts

Platform Caption limit Media
Facebook 5,000 characters Optional. One photo or video, or a YouTube link.
Instagram 2,200 characters Required. One photo, or a video (posted as a Reel; vertical works best).
X 280 characters, including hashtags Optional. One photo (JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 5 MB). Videos and audio go out as text only.

Each post gets one photo or video. Audio-only recordings can't be posted to Facebook or Instagram, and YouTube links can't be posted to Instagram.

Instagram photos need to be between 320 and 1440 pixels wide, with a shape between 4:5 (portrait) and 1.91:1 (landscape).

Scheduling

A scheduled post goes out at its topic's date and time; posts don't have their own time. So:

  • Schedule only works when the topic has a date. Otherwise the post is saved as a draft.
  • Changing a topic's date moves its scheduled posts with it.
  • The topic's time has to be in the future. If it's passed, change the topic's date or use Post Now.
  • If the site is down at posting time, the post goes out as soon as it's back, up to 6 hours late. After that it's marked Failed instead, so a "tonight!" post doesn't go out the next day.

About an hour before a topic's time, whoever created it gets an email reminder (while the campaign is active): either "ready to go", or a nudge if its posts are still drafts or haven't been written.

After posting

Open a post to see its status: Draft, Scheduled, Posted or Failed. Posted posts have a View on link to the live post.

If a post fails, the reason appears at the top of the page. Common ones are an expired connection (reconnect the account), a missing photo for Instagram, or a photo with the wrong size or shape. Fix it, then click Post Now to try again, either on the post's page or from the topic's post list.

Posted posts can't be edited here; edit them on the platform itself. Deleting a post here doesn't remove it from the platform.
